Beebe Estate Usage Agreement
This historic home, built in the 1820's is treasured by Melrosians for its architectural heritage.
The Beebe Estate Association welcomes you and your display of fine art, crafts, photos, and sculpture. We have worked diligently to raise the funds to have track lighting, painting, carpets, and window treatments completed for all to enjoy. We hope that you agree that the restored interior will provide an elegant setting for your special event or exhibit.
We request that no nails, screws, staples, push pins, tape, or other materials be used on any walls or woodwork in the house. You may use molding hooks and nylon filament for use in your display.
Any damage to the walls or molding made by you or your associates must be repaired, at your expense, by our professional painter. The depth of the rich historic colors does not permit patchwork touchups. The complete surface will have to be repainted, at your expense, to ensure an even color coating.
Please understand that these requirements will allow the Beebe Estate Association to preserve the decorative restoration of the estate for many years to come.
The Beebe Estate Board of Directors, Beebe Estate Association, the City of Melrose or their representatives, do not assume responsibility or liability for you, your guests or your personal property, nor are they responsible for any permits or licenses necessary for your event. Per diem insurance is available and recommended.
